The fun continued as we all moved to the Members Terrace where everyone tasted various flights of wine and had a delicious lunch. My friends kept commenting about how extraordinary the staff was being helpful, caring, cheerful, knowledgable about the wines and basically will to do anything to make this a positive extra special experience. We had the 2020 Zinfandel from their signature series and it was a big hit! Before the first toast my Mom's special high school friend was late and missing and the staff (without being asked on their own) immediately went search the grounds for her and picked her up in a golf cart and escorted her to the private room.
The entire experience of fine wine, good friends and touching stories brought my Mom to tears. Renee Antrobus worked with me to set up a special toast and honoring speeches in their beautiful, exclusive Winder room. I had the most magical, extraordinary experience celebrating my Mom's 83rd birthday with family and friends at Leoness.
